Meet Lucas Giolito’s wife Ariana Dubelko Giolito

Ariana Dubelko Giolito

Meet the stunning Mrs. Ariana Dubelko Giolito! She is the lovely wife of MLB player Lucas Giolito, the 6’6″ pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, who started his career with the minor league team the Gulf Coast Nationals after the Washington Nationals selected him in the 2012 MLB Draft.

Prior to that, Lucas played college baseball for the UCLA Bruins and at Harvard-Westlake High School in Studio City, CA, before college.

Giolito’s wife Ariana was shocked about the private exchange between Elizabeth Swarzak (wife of reliever Anthony Swarzak) and Bria Anderson (wife of shortstop Tim Anderson) when these two ladies were arguing about white supremacy and gun control.

I am so disgusted and disappointed. Bria Anderson is a teacher with a Masters degree working on her doctorate while raising two girls; and running a non-profit organization that works with the youth of South Side Chicago.

For someone within this baseball family to say such disgraceful and disgusting things, to shamelessly act in a demeaning and hateful way is reprehensible. Half of the players in the MLB are IMMIGRANTS from Latin countries.

To know someone among you holds hate in their heart or thinks of you; as a criminal because of your birthplace is something I cannot even imagine. Insulting and demeaning a woman’s incredible non-profit work is mind-boggling.

I’m angry and hurt for every person of color involved in this sport; the players, wives, front office staff, coaches, trainers, the fans who love this sport.

And for the families of those who lost their lives at the hands of mass murderers who, in their own words, wanted to kill people of color.

25-year-old Mrs. Giolito was born Ariana Rose Dubelko on January 8, 1994, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Robert and Janine Dubelko (nee. Hopkins); also the proud parents of Ariana’s brother Alexander.

Ariana met Lucas while they both attended Harvard-Westlake; she later went to Southern Methodist University from where she graduated in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in applied Physiology and Health Management.
She subsequently enrolled at the University of California-Davis  School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, hopefully, will graduate in 2022.
