Erika and David founded their incredible charity “David Akers Kicks for Kids Foundation” which along the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia helps thousands of sick children and their families every year.

40-year-old Erika Ekman was born on February 17, 1972, in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1990, and in 1994 graduated from the University of Kentucky.
Erika Akers got married to her famous hubby in 1997, they are the proud parents of three gorgeous and amazing children, sons Luke and Sawyer and their little princess Halley.
