Kate Goodland is the former long-term girlfriend and now wife of England soccer captain and super striker Harry Kane. Kane, a former player for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, moved to Germany in 2023 to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
With Kane providing an outstanding performance in the first season for his new club and leading his country at the summer’s Euro 2024 Championship, his wife Kate has also been caught in the public eye a lot, as she is regularly seen watching her talented husband.

Soccer star Harry Kane is not only one of England’s all-time great goalscorers, he is highly regarded as one of the best finishers in the world too. Kane first wore the captain’s armband for his country in the summer of 2017 during a World Cup qualification match, a game in which he scored. A year later, he led his country and the line for England at the 2018 World Cup, scoring six goals in six games to win the prestigious Golden Boot as the competition’s top goalscorer.

How Harry and Kate met
In 2017, the former Tottenham Hotspur forward announced that he was dating Kate Goodland. However, their history goes back much further, as they were childhood sweethearts in a fantastic story of relationship longevity.
The two were friends at Chingford Foundation School in London, which was the same school that another England legend, Sir David Beckham, attended when he was a kid. There is a famous picture of Harry and Kate as young kids, posing with David Beckham when Becks launched his Football Academy in London in 2005.
Nearly 15 years after that photograph was taken, the 23-year-old Kane tied the knot with Kate at a wedding ceremony held in Barbados. In a social media post that melted the hearts of romantics, Kane posted “Finally got to marry my Best Friend! I love you @KateGoodlandx” after the nuptials.

Kate was born in January 1993 and is about six months older than her husband, who celebrates his birthday in July. Kate reached more than 295k followers on Instagram with fewer than 500 posts.

Following the family’s move to Germany, where they live in an area dubbed the “Bavarian Beverly Hills”, Kate has been documenting their move abroad on Instagram (@katekanex), posting momentous photographs such as the husband and wife posing on the pitch at Bayern, with Kate heavily pregnant at the time.
At the 2024 European Championships, the three oldest Kane children were pictured at the side of the pitch, being greeted by their dad during his warm-up ahead of a match. Ivy, Vivienne and Louis Kane all wore an England shirt with “Daddy 9” on the back. The Kane family obscured the faces of their children to maintain their privacy on social media.

Kane was born to Patrick and Kim Kane, and he has one older brother, Charlie. Due to Irish ancestry on his father’s side, Kane was eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland.
