Lianet Barrera
Meet the lovely Ms. Lianet Barrera; she is the girlfriend of Cuban Major League Baseball player Yuli Gurriel, born Yulieski Gurriel in Sancti Spiritus. Yuli is one of the sons of former baseball player Lourdes Gurriel Delgado; whose younger son, also named Lourdes is an infielder for the Toronto Blue Jays; his other son Yunieski resides in Miami, Florida.

Yuli Gurrie, the first and third baseman for the Houston Astros defected from Cuba alongside his brother Lourdes Jr. after they competed in the Caribbean World Series. He signed with the Astros on July 16, 2016; prior to that, he played for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars.
However Guriel didn’t make his grand debut right away, instead, he joined the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League, the Gulf Coast Astros; subsequently played for the Lancaster JetHawks, Corpus Christi Hooks and finally for the Fresno Grizzlies.
Gurriel eventually made his MLB debut with the Astros on August 21, 2016.
