This lovely lady is Lucy Fang; wife of Farhan Zaidi, who serves as General manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2014. Mr. Zaidi a Pakistani, born in Ontario, Canada is one of the very few MLB Executives who are Muslims and the first general manager.
40-year-old Farhan, was born on November 11, 1976, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He was still a child when his family moved to Manila, Philippines.
After High School, he enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he graduated from with a Bachelor of Science degree; in addition to his Bachelor of Science, he also holds a doctorate of philosophy (PhD) in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to baseball, he worked for the Sporting News website as well as for Boston Consulting Group. He found his first job baseball related as the data analysis sabermetrics assistant for the Atlanta Braves; eventually promoted to Director of Baseball Operations in 2014 and assistant general manager a year later.
The Los Angeles Dodgers named him their General Manager on November 6, 2014.
Mr. Zaidi met his wife in college, Lucy Fang, 39, an architect and product designer graduated in 2000 from MIT. Lucy was, as a matter of fact, his Burton-Conner housemate. They got married in 2011.
