Meet Amy Leibman!, She is Neil Leibman Wife. Mr. Leibman is the President of Business Operations and Chief Operating Officer for the Texas Rangers. In addition to the previously mentioned, Neil Leibman serves as Chairman for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
Amy Leibman was born Amy Ann Pickett in January 1960, in Liberty, Texas. She is the daughter of Benjamin Ellis Pickett and his wife Ellen Pickett (nee. Watson), also proud parents to Mrs. Leibman’s siblings, Benjamin Ellis Pickett Jr, Laura Pickett Calfee, and Lisa Pickett Edmonds.
Amt Leibman is an alumna of Southwest Texas State University. She is a dedicated participant in various charitable activities and organizations including the Junior League of Houston, Ronald McDonald House, and the March of Dimes Guild. Additionally, she maintains an active membership with the Chi Omega Alumnae Association.
Amy Leibman and her husband Neil Leibman got married in October 1988 and have three amazing children: Madison Leibman, Adrianne Leibman, and Andrew Leibman.

Andrew Leibman graduated in 2021 from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship Studies; he is an Investment Sales Associate at NAI Partners. Before that, Andrew Leibman was an intern for Prime Communications and Summer Energy; he also served as a spotter for CBS Sports in 2019 and an assistant for the Dallas Mavericks from 2018 to 2020. With the Mavericks, Andrew worked for and assisted President/General Manager Donnie Nelson.
Adrianne Leibman studied fashion marketing and merchandising at AIFS in 2015 and in 2017, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.
Adrianne has been a sales analyst for Suimmer Energy since February 2019; she p[previously worked as a sales manager for Christina Greene, a Showroom Operations Associate for Knot Standard, a Showroom Sales Intern for Findings Inc., and a Celebrity Stylist Intern for Jeff K Kim Atelier.
Madison Leibman attended The Kinkaid School and the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance.
Madison is a production coordinator for HBOMax in Los Angeles. She previously was a production coordinator for Halon Entertainment (2021), Brat (2018-21), DreamWorks Animation (2015-17) and also was a conference apprentice for the Austin Film Festival. Madison Leibman interned with Dreamworks, American Express, BLT Communications, and UQ Marketing.
Neil Leibman Biography
Neil Leibman holds key roles in Texas Rangers as the President of Business Operations and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for every aspect of the club’s revenue and business operations, leads the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, and collaborates with Ray Davis, the Managing Partner and Majority Owner, on potential growth opportunities.
Neil Leibman has been an integral part of the ownership group since it bought the Rangers in August 2010, and he sits on the team’s Board of Directors. In 2013, he was named Chairman of the Rangers Ownership Committee, and in 2018, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. By January 2021, he had also taken on the title of President of Business Operations.
Over the past seven years, Mr. Leibman has worked hand-in-hand with Davis and the City of Arlington to strike a deal for the construction of Globe Life Field. He also collaborated with The Cordish Companies and Loews Hotels & Co. on projects like Texas Live!, Live! by Loews-Arlington, TX, and Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center. Leibman has shown considerable initiative in acquiring non-MLB sports and entertainment events and properties for both Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium.
He played a pivotal role in the Rangers’ acquisition and subsequent purchase of the Down East Wood Ducks from the then-Carolina League in August 2016, and the purchase of the then-South Atlantic League’s Hickory Crawdads in October 2017. Currently, Neil Leibman acts as CEO of Kinston Baseball LLC and President of Hickory Baseball Inc. He also participates in Major League Baseball’s Diversity and International Committees at the ownership level.
Mr. Leibman is the Managing Partner of Top Tier Sports, which owns parts of several sports teams and brands, including the Cleiburne Railroaders, Dallas Jackals, Panther City Lacrosse Club, Minnesota Whitecaps, and the Official League lifestyle brand. He also has stakes in various esports teams owned by Immortals Gaming Company, where he is a member of the Board of Directors.
Presently, Leibman serves as the CEO of Summer Energy Inc., a retail electricity provider catering to Texas’s residential and commercial markets. Before joining Summer Energy, Leibman held top positions at Aspen Pipeline LP I and II, GEXA Corp., and practiced law at Leibman & Oesch, LLP. He started his career as a lawyer for Exxon Company USA.
He splits his time between offices in Houston and Dallas but calls Houston home, where he lives with his wife Amy and their three children. He is an alumnus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and State University of New York School of Law and Business. He contributes to numerous school boards and charitable organizations.
