Shelly Ruggiano
Shelly Ruggiano aka Shelly R. Leake is the wife of MLB player Justin Ruggiano, outfielder player for the New York Mets who also played for the Miami Marlins, the Tampa Bay Rays, L.A Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Mariners.
Shelly Ruggiano’s MLB hubby was born April 12, 1982 in Austin Texas. He started playing baseball at a very ealy age and continued all the way to high school and college where he joined the Aggies at Texas A&M .
Ruggiano was drafted in the 25th round of the 2004 MLB Draft by Los Angeles Dodgers, his team until he was sold to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2006, where he stayed for six years.
In 2012, as a free agent Ruggiano signed a deal with the Houston Astros in February, 2012, the following month he was traded to the Miami Marlins who then traded him to the Chicago Cubs on December 12, 2013. Chicago trade him to the Seattle Mariners a year later.
Ruggiano was traded to Los Angeles Dodgers in August, 2015 and the Dodgers traded him to the Texas Rangers in December, 2015 and then released on July 26, 2016.
His last season with the Astros, was less than optimal, but lucky for him the New York Mets signed him in on July 30, 2016.

Shelly Ruggiano was born Shelly R. Leake on October 213, 19983 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in 2006 from Texas A&M where she met her husband since January 9, 2008. Together they have two incredible and beautiful children, son Brook and daughter Ava.
