New York Mets staring pitcher Jon Niese is officially off the market ladies, he just got married this year to his lovely girlfriend Leah Eckman, who we call begin to call Mrs. Leah Niese!!
26-year-old Jonathan Joseph Niese aka Jon Niese from Ohio made his grand debut wit the big guys on September, 2008 when the Mets faced the Brewers.
Niese’s wife since year is 23-year-old Leah Mari Eckman Niese from Oregon, Ohio was born on April 25, 1989 to Jodi and Lee Eckman her twin brothers are Devon and Dylon, who actually is a hair stylist, more like of a hair artist who last December became a daddy of his gorgeous baby angel Ella with his wife or GF Allyson.
She studied at Clay High School Oregon, Ohio, Leah and Jon had been dating for three years, they met at Leah’s college Bowling Green State University in 2009 where a they were having a bonfire, Jon who was recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered at a game against the Cardinals on August 5th, Leah recalled Jon was visiting and was wearing a cast up to his waist.
“He was in a cast from his ankle up to his waist,” Leah recalled. “We just started talking, and he just seemed like a down-to-earth and really sweet guy. We just took it from there.
“The following spring training, I knew I would spend the rest of my life with him.”
And the rest is history, Leah moved to Long Island City, Queens and in case you wonder you is the pretty blonde girl always siting behind the dugout at every Mets game that will be Leah Niese, she goes to every Mets game in New York and tries not to miss any of his games outside NYC.
“I go to every possible game that I can — because he does better when I’m there,”
So we should guess that she is quite comfortable and relax after watching so many games, or isn’t she cool?
Oh, Leah is cool alright, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get nervous..
“I’m all focused on him. I’m shaking, I’m biting my nails, I’m so nervous,” she said. “It’s pretty frantic all the way through the whole game until he gets pulled out — so I’m sure Opening Day will be pretty intense. I’m the superstitious one, I have lucky underwear — they’re Mets underwear.”
