Jerry Remy’s son Jared Remy has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend Jennifer Martel, mother of a little girl who was at the home during the attack but was unhurt, it is unknown if Remy’s is the girl’s father (judging for the pics below he might he the father), he remains in the custody of state child welfare officials.
Jared Remy’s famous father 60-year-old Jerry Remy born Gerald Peter Remy was the second baseman for the Red Sox until his retirement in 1986. In November, 2005 27-year-old Jared was charged with assaulting an ex-girlfriend at his dad’s home in Weston, according to reports Jared grabbed his girlfriend by the hair, threw her to the ground, threw a cell phone at her and kicked her in the back, stomach and face. He also allegedly punched her in the eye and hit her in the stomach. She tried to call 911 but he took the phone from her hand.
Jennifer Marter, 27 was stabbed multiple times at their home in Waltham, MA on the night of August, 15th, she was found in the patio..
This morning, inside the patio at the unit at 1203 Stearns Hill Road, was a large bloodstain lying next to a small pink plastic tricycle. Ryan said Martel was found lying in the patio.
He was arrested at the scene, Ryan said. He was later taken to a hospital for examination for unspecified medical issue, but is now expected to appear in court later today.
