Kevin Robert Harlan, born on June 21, 1960, is an American television and radio sports announcer with a long and illustrious career. He is the son of former Green Bay Packers executive Bob Harlan and a two-time National Sportscaster of the Year.
Kevin Harlan has been broadcasting NFL games for 39 consecutive seasons and NBA games for 38 years. With 13 consecutive Super Bowls under his belt, he holds the record for the most consecutive Super Bowls broadcasted in radio and television network history.
Harlan’s career began as a teenager, broadcasting for his high school’s radio station, WGBP-FM. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in broadcast journalism in 1982, he went on to become the TV and radio voice of the NBA’s Kansas City Kings (now the Sacramento Kings).
Throughout his career, Harlan has worked with various organizations, including Westwood One Radio, CBS, FOX, and Turner Sports. In addition to NFL and NBA games, he has also called college football and basketball games, boxing matches, and even lent his voice to the NBA 2K video game series since 2005.
Known for his humorous and dramatic commentary, Harlan has become a fan favorite for his ability to make even mundane moments exciting. Some of his most memorable calls include LeBron James’ dunk during the 2008 Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Minneapolis Miracle in the 2018 NFC Divisional Match-up, and Kawhi Leonard’s buzzer-beater shot in the 2019 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Kevin Harlan’s dedication and passion for sports broadcasting have earned him numerous accolades, including being named National Sportscaster of the Year by both the NSMA and The Athletic and being inducted into the Notre Dame Academy High School Hall of Fame.

Kevin Harlan and his amazing wife Ann Harlan have been married since December 26, 1987, and have four incredible children together, son Rob and daughters Haley Harlan Mancuso, Abigail, and Olvia Harlan, married to former NBA player Sam Dekker.

Kevin Harlan wife Ann Harlan was born Ann Latimer on April 27, 1964. Ann Harlan attended the University of Oklahoma; she lives in Mission Hills, Kansas.
Her son, Rob Harlan graduated from the University of Denver in 2019, with a degree in hospitality administration and management; he is an assistant manager at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Denver, Colorado.
Abigail Harlan, graduated in 2011, with a Bachelor’s degree in English and literature from Furman University; Abigail is an account director at Page Communications in Kansas City; before that, she was the design partnership manager at Paperless Post (2017-2021) and an associate account exec at Dini Von Mueffling Communications (2016-17).
