Cassie Sumner Fonte
Cassie Sumner Fonte is the wife of Portuguese soccer player Jose Fonte, who is currently a central defender player for Southampton and the Portugal National team. Fonte also played for Sporting B, Felgueiras, Benfica and Crystal Palace.
Cassie Sumner’s soccer stud Jose Fonte was born Jose Miguel da Rocha Fonte on December 22, 1983 in Panafiel, Portugal. 6’2″ Fonte started his career as a youngster with his hometown team Penafiel in 1991, after three years he joined Sporting Clube de Portugal who send him on a loan to Sacavanense.
By 2002, he joined Sporting B’s senior team and Felgueiras two years later, in 2005 Fonte signed with Vitoria Setubal and two years later joined Crystal Placa on a loan deal. He signed with Southampton on January 9, 2010. Fonte was named Southampton’s captain in August, 2014, that same month he agreed on a four-year deal with Southampton.
