Meet Iris Mannarino

Iris Mannarino is the lovely sister of French Tennis player Adrian Mannarino. Her older brother is currently giving his all at the US OPEN in Flushing Meadows, New York against Andy Murray.

He was born June 29, 1988, in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, France. the 27-year-old began playing at age five, according to his ATP World Tour bio. Iris Mannarino is the youngest of five children and the only girl. She is the daughter of father, Florent, conveniently, tennis teachers and; mother, Annie, is a former school teacher.

She has four older brothers including Adrian. The other three are, Julien, Thomas, and Morgan.

Her famous tennis player brother played 10 Futures events between 2006-10. While growing up, admired fellow left-hander Marcelo Rios. Adrian enjoys playing on all surfaces and does not have a favorite surface and reveals the best place to play for him is in his home country.

Besides loving tennis, he is also a fan of Paris St. Germain soccer team, when it comes to favorite actors, he enjoys the work of Jean Dujardin, Jamel Debbouze, and Thomas Ngijol.

Left-handed Frenchman Adrian Mannarino has played primarily at the Challenger level. He entered the 2013 Wimbledon ranked No. 111 and made it to the fourth round, falling to Lukasz Kubot in five sets, which was Mannarino’s best Grand Slam result. Iris Mannarino’s brother turned pro in 2004.

Most recently, last year, the French native finished in Top 50 for the 1st time and Won 16 tour-level matches during the year, 2nd-most in a career. He also reached 2R at Australian Open and his best showing in Grand Slam day was 3R at US Open. He earned a career-high of $538,098. Sweet!

Adrian wished his sister a happy 23rd birthday earlier this year and posted a sweet photo of them as kids to his Instagram account.
