Adolis Garcia’s wife Yama Garcia was born Yamarys Gonzalez in September 1996, Cuba. Judging from Adolis’s IG post, they have been married since April 2011 and have two beautiful children together: Chris, born in June 2017, and a daughter born in January 2022.

- Born on March 2, 1993, José Adolis García Arrieta, also known as “El Bombi,” hails from Ciego de Avila, Cuba. He initially played for Ciego de Ávila in the Cuban National Series.
- On April 20, 2016, he signed with the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball and represented Cuba in the 2015 Pan American Games.
- After defecting from Cuba in 2016, García joined the St. Louis Cardinals in February 2017. He played with both the Springfield Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds during 2017, accumulating a .290 batting average with 15 home runs and 65 RBIs.
- In 2018, he started with Memphis and was promoted to the major leagues by the Cardinals in August. He finished the season with a .256 batting average, 22 home runs, and 71 RBIs over 112 games for Memphis, but struggled with the Cardinals, hitting just .118 over 21 games.
- On December 18, 2019, García got designated for assignment.
- A few days later, on December 21, 2019, the Texas Rangers acquired García in exchange for cash considerations. Despite only six at-bats in 2020, he didn’t record any hits.
- After officially signing Mike Foltynewicz on February 10, 2021, the Rangers designated García for assignment, but he was outrighted and invited to spring training as a non-roster invitee two days later.
- García was added to the active roster in April 2021 due to an injury to Ronald Guzmán. His impressive performance in May, with a .312 batting average, a .633 slugging percentage, and 11 home runs, earned him the title of American League Rookie of the Month.
- He was a reserve for the American League in the 2021 MLB All-Star Game, where he hit one-for-two with a double. In 2021, he led all rookies with 90 RBIs and 59 extra-base hits, and tied for the league lead with 16 outfield assists. He also hit 31 home runs.
- In 2022, over 156 games for Texas, García had a .250 batting average, 27 home runs, 101 RBIs, and 25 stolen bases.
- On April 22, 2023, in a game against the Oakland Athletics, García made history by becoming the fourth person in MLB to hit three home runs and two doubles in a single game, driving in eight runs.

On March 1, 2023, Adolis Garcia signed a 1-year, $747,760 contract with the Texas Rangers.
Garcia signed a 1-year, $564,500 contract with the Rangers on March 5, 2020. Then on March 27, agreed to a one-year, $714,000 contract extension with Texas.
