Maria’s last boyfriend was Bulgarian tennis star, Grigor Dimitrov –who by the way, is currently dating Pussy Cat Dolls vocalist, Nicole Scherzinger.
Maria dated Grigor for two years and the couple shared homes in Florida and California, they called things off last summer. Grigor was also the boyfriend of tennis superstar, Serena Williams. He had been at the center of a love triangle involving both Maria and Williams.
Outlets reported Maria was seen in an outing with a new man, hinting the two could be in the beginning on a relationship. The man seen out and about with Sharapova is Adir Abergel (pictured below with the tennis star), but Abergel is a friend that happens to work with Maria as her hair stylist. So again, we are on the lookout for her new man.
Sharapova needs all the support she can get right now. The Russian tennis star is making headlines but this time is not because of her tennis achievements. The 28-year-old revealed on Monday that she had failed a drugs test at this year’s Australian Open, as a result she has been provisionally suspended from tennis.
The five-time Grand Slam winner, says she has been taking the drug for 10 years after she was regularly falling ill. She had a magnesium deficiency and family history of diabetes. The drug entered the banned list on 16 September 2015, and it came into effect on 1 January 2016. What an unfortunate thing!
Maria has also had her fare share of American men. She briefly dated singer Adam Levine in 2008 and was also linked to TV producer Charlie Ebersol. She clearly has no problem with Ethnicity or background when it comes to dating. After that, she was engaged to Sasha Vujacic, the Slovenian basketball player.
The daughter of Yuri and Yelena, she started playing at age 4; at age 6 took part in Moscow exhibition that featured Martina Navratilova; began training at Bollettieri Academy at age 9.
Aside of her tennis career, Maria has turned into a major force in the business world with a series of very successful ventures including, a Nike apparel collection and a line at Cole Haan. Maria has also given a lot back. She’s done a ton of charity through her foundation.
There is no doubt that Maria is hot, rich and talented and we wish she can find someone that appreciates her.
