Betty Maccagnan
Betty Maccagnan is the wife of former New York Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan. Her husband a New Jersey native joined the Jets in 2015. Prior to that, he worked with the Houston Texans and the Washington Redskins.
Mike graduated from Peddie School on Hightstown, New Jersey and Trinity College in Connecticut.
His career started in 1990, as the scouting intern for the Washington Redskins; a year later joined the London Monarchs of the World League of American Football.
In 1993, was the Director of Player Personnel for the Ottawa Rough Riders and director of scouting for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1994. Finally joined the Redsking as the pro scout in 1995.
Subsequently, the Houston Texans hired him as their coordinator of college scouting in 2000, promoting him to assistant director of college scouting in 2010 and director of college scouting in 2011.
There isn’t much out there about Mrs. Maccagnan, unfortunately; thus far, we found that she was born Betty Glaser on February 12, 1970.
Betty was or remains a member of the On Love Foundation, which stands against domestic abuse; last year the Jets nominated Mike and Betty for their commitment to the military community for the Salute to Service Award.
