Bryce Dejean Jones
Bryce Dejean-Jones, the former NBA player who played in the shooting guard position with the New Orlean Pelicans and college basketball at Iowa State University. He was 23 when he died on May 28, 2016, of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
According to news, Bryce suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen late Friday and bled to death. Bryce A. Dejean-Jones the son of Francesca and Walter Dejean Jones was born on August 21, 1992, in Los Angeles, California; he attended at Taft High School in Woodlands where he graduated in 2010. Bryce Dejean-Jones who has six siblings, four brothers Malik, Khalil, Jabriel, Kennedy and two sisters Kelly and Kianna.
After high school Dejean-Jones graduated from Iowa State University with a UNLV with a degree in sociology, master’s degree in family and consumer sciences – youth development.
Moreover, signed a contract with the New Orleans Pelicans on January 21, 2016; previously played with the D-League team the Idaho Stampede. On February 10, he signed a three-year deal with the Pelicans.
Dejean-Jones faced two misdemeanor counts of a nuisance party violation and noise ordinance violation on December 11, 2014; the charges were later dropped.
Bryce Dejean-Jones is survived by his beloved mother Franchesca Brown-Jones; he referred to his momma as his favorite lady and the person who was always there for him.
He also leaves behind his brothers, sisters, and his daughter.
Bryce also leaves behind a daughter, born from his relationship with Ms. Chrystal Graves.
Chrystal and Bryce welcomed their adorable daughter, Allicsia Cimone Faith DeJean Jones on May 28, 2015.
Furthermore, Arkansas native Chrystal met Bryce during his senior year at UNLV.
