Charlotte Jackson
Charlotte Jackson is the journalist wife of Wales football manager Chris Coleman. The couple has been married for just over a year and have one son together.
Charlotte Jackson’s husband was born in Swansea on June 10, 1970. Coleman made his professional debut at Swansea aged 17 before a £275,000 move to Crystal Palace in the newly formed Premier League. Coleman earned 32 caps for Wales in a career that was cut short through injury.
He began his playing career at Manchester City. To date, Coleman has previously managed Fulham in the Barclays Premier League as well as Spanish giants Real Sociedad. He was confirmed as the new manager of Wales on January 2012.
The 46-year-old is not the only famous face in the couple, his wife is also a popular figure.
The lovely TV presenter makes for one of the hottest Wales wags. She is perhaps best known for her work on Sky, presenting Sky Sports News, Champions League coverage ,the Euro Pro Tour Golf and often appearing on the panel of the hugely popular comedy sports game show, “A League of Their Own”
Charlotte Jackson was brought up near the New Forest. After completing a journalism course at her local college, Charlotte went on to present a variety of different television programs, including ‘Lounge Living’ a magazine style show, shown on channel “YOU”, quiz shows, shopping television and covering Wimbledon for Sky Sports.com TV and for the official Cheltenham website during the four-day 2006 National Hunt Festival.
She got her big TV break hosting a live daily sports show on Setanta Sports. She hosted ITV4s Beach Soccer coverage and hosted the Beijing Olympics and Champions League for Al Jazeera Sport over in the Middle East.
The hot journalist hosts the celebrity packed “Sir Bobby Robson’s Celebrity Golf Classic” it was there where she and Chris Coleman met. The couple announced they were expecting their first child in 2014. Charlotte Jackson gave birth to baby boy, Finlay on December 22, 2014.
She and Coleman walked down the isle in May 2015. Charlotte revealed through Twitter the wedding was planned in only three weeks. She changed her social media accounts to Charlotte Coleman.
Her hubby was previously married to first wife, Belinda, with whom he fathered four children, Sonny, Christy, Faraday and Georgie.
The mom of one is also known for having co-hosted ITV1’s prime time series, “71 Degrees North” with Paddy McGuinness.
She also reached the semi-finals as a contestant on ITV1’s hit Saturday night show “Splash!” and took part in the celebrity version of “The Chase” on ITV1, winning £25000 for the charity Barnardo’s, which Charlotte is an ambassador for. She hosted the charity’s young supporters concert in a packed Royal Albert Hall.
