The American football tight end for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, Dennis Pitta, is married to Mataya Gissel
Dennis married Mataya Gissel on July 19, 2008, when Dennis was going into his junior year at school. Wonder how this couple met? Well, Arizona Cardinals Max Hall, Dennis’ former BYU teammate, is his brother in-law. Max married Mataya’s sister McKinzi a few years before Dennis and Mataya got hitched. Dennis and Mataya were, of course, set up by McKinzi.
The two, reportedly, went on their first date to a party and watch the season premier of The Office.
Mataya Gisselwas born in 1988. She attended Gilbert High School in Gilbert, AZ, and graduated class of 2007.
Reportedly, Mataya is a 24-year-old actress. She had a small role on the 1997 movie “Family Plan” starring Leslie Nielsen and Judge Reinhold.
Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta gave autographs and took photos with hundreds of fans at Modell’s Sporting Goods in Parkville on Friday night, a little more than a week before he plays in his first Super Bowl.
While names like Ray Rice, Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin come to mind first when thinking about the Ravens offense, Pitta has a chance to play a big role on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
