Meet Mike MacDonald’s Wife, Stephanie MacDonald! Coach MacDonald is the head coach for the Seattle Seahawks. Coach MacDonald was previously the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. Mike MacDonald also worked as a Cedar Shoals High School linebackers coach, graduate assistant at the University of Georgia, and defensive coordinator at the University of Michigan.

Mike Macdonald’s wife, the exquisite Stephanie MacDonald, was born Stephanie Marie Broman on April 2, 1988, in Annapolis, Maryland, and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Stephanie MacDonald is a former Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans cheerleader and muscle and fitness contestant, and once an American Ninja Warrior competitor.
I competed on American Ninja Warrior, season six, in Denver. I didn’t do very well, but I’m considering giving it a second shot this season! It’s very intense and training for the course is very difficult. Agility and grip strength are essential!
Stephanie MacDonald graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in communications, focusing on public relations and minoring in sociology, from Virginia Tech, where she also cheered.

- In May 2010, joined Mark Richt’s coaching staff as a graduate assistant with the Georgia Bulldogs football program.
- Served as a safety and defensive quality control coach at Georgia from 2011 to 2013.
- In 2013, while coaching at Georgia, received a master’s degree in sport management.
- Baltimore Ravens
- Served on John Harbaugh’s coaching staff for seven seasons from 2014 to 2020.
- Hired as an intern in 2014, promoted to defensive assistant in January 2015, defensive backs coach in January 2017, and linebackers coach in January 2018.

- In January 2021, joined Jim Harbaugh’s staff at the University of Michigan as the defensive coordinator.
- Earned a record-breaking $1,000,000 a year in salary.

- On January 27, 2022, Macdonald was re-hired by the Baltimore Ravens as their defensive coordinator under head coach John Harbaugh, replacing Don Martindale.

The Seattle Seahawks announced they hired Mike MacDonald to replace Pete Carroll as their new head coach on January 31, 2024.

Mike MacDonald Playing Career
Before coaching, Mike MacDonald achieved the highest academic honors by graduating summa cum laude with a finance degree from Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2010. Concurrently, he pursued his passion for sports and education, earning a master’s degree in sports management from Georgia in 2013. During this time, he also contributed to the Bulldogs’ football program as a safeties and defensive quality control coach.
In his earlier years, Mike MacDonald showcased his athletic prowess as a two-sport athlete, participating in football and baseball at Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia.
