Carissa Gross
Carissa Gross is a Colorado based wedding photographer, Â rock climber and also is the girlfriend of Jake Murray. Murray is the eccentric, yet amazing contestant of American Ninja Warrior.
Carissa Gross was born in Brandon, South Dakota; she is one of three children born to Carla Hoffman Gross, also proud momma of Carissa’s two siblings Courtney and musician brother Corey.
She graduated in 2004 from Brandon Valley High School and in 2010 from The University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in contemporary media & journalism (visual arts).
Carissa has been living in Denver, Colrado for the past couple of years. In Cpoloradoi along Jake, she  is a freelance photographer. Before she started working on her own, she worked as a graphic designer at Aphagraphica Aurora (2011-2014).
Before relocating to Colorado Ms. Gross, worked as a sales. In June 20007, was a Lab Associate at Harold’s Lab Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Also in South Dakota, she worked at Old Chicago Restaurants, and before that at Best Buy’s sales and digital media department.
