Meet Honor Carter
Honor Carter is the wife of 33-year-old rugby superstar, Daniel “Dan” Carter. Her man is widely dubbed as the best player in the world. He is an unparalleled All Blacks playmaker, Vice-Captain and points scorer. Carter has been crowned the top international points scorer in Test rugby and the most capped All Black Fly Half of all time.
According to his Crusaders page, Carter made his provincial debut for Canterbury in 2002 and joined the Crusaders the following season. He also made his All Blacks debut in 2003, scoring 20 points against Wales in Hamilton and going on to make the 2003 Rugby World Cup squad. He also played in the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups, although a groin injury kept him out of the 2011 RWC playoffs and saw him miss the early stages of the 2012 Super Rugby season.
He earned his 100th Super Rugby cap for the Crusaders against the Hurricanes in 2012 and in 2013 became the first Super Rugby player to exceed 1500 points. He has also played 100 test matches for the All Blacks.
He is one of Rugby union’s highest paid players.

Honor Carter was born Honor Louisa Dillon14 July 1982 in Blenheim. The 1.68 m former player, was first selected for the Black Sticks Women in November 2004.
She competed for the New Zealand women’s national field hockey team since 2004, including the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia, the 2004 Champions Trophy Tournament in Rosario, Argentina and the 2006 Champions Trophy Tournament in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
According to her LinkedIn, the former Black Sticks player, attended Chilton Saint James School, holds a degree in Psychology from University of Canterbury and a degree in Marketing also from University of Canterbury.
In 2003 she founded a Jewelry company, has worked as a marketing assistant fro an insurance company and most recently was listed as a DB Export Marketing Manager & DB Digital Manager for a brewing company.
Honor became Honor Carter in 2011, their wedding made the front cover of every glossy in the land. Honor and Dan dated for a while before tying the knot, he popped the question in 2010.
She gave birth to their first child, son Marco in 2013 and to second son, Fox William, earlier this year.
