Renato Franca
Renato Franca, the beloved and handsome husband of beach volleyball player Talita Antunes. The Brazilian stunner is member of the Brazilian Women’s Volley Team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil.
Renato’s wife Talita Da Rocha Antunes was born August 29, 1982 in Aquidauna, Mata Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Talita first volleyball partner was Jackie Silva in 2001.
Talita moved to Rio after Jacquie invited her. Together they finished fourth in an event in 2002 at Porto Alegre. That same year they won the South American Championship.
Silva suffered an injury by end of 2002, shortly after that Talita started a long partnership with volleyball player Renata Martins Ribeiro. During the six years together, they won the Challenger Banco do Brasil, runners-up in the games held in Rio and Recife.
Then in 2009, she teamed up with Maria Elisa Antonelli, with whom she earned the gold in the 2009 Swatch FIVB World Tour in China, South Korea, Norway and Switzerland; bronze at the 2009 World Championships in Stavanger, Norway.
All of the previously mentioned placed them 1st overall ranking in the 2009 Brazilian Beach Volleyball Circuit and 2nd overall ranking in the 2009 World Ranking.
Talita teamed up with partner Larissa França in July, 2014; they were named FIVB Team of the Year and FIVB Tour Champion in 2015.
Talita has some personal records we need to enumerate. Back in 2005 named FIVB Top Rookie in 2005, FIVB Best Hitter in three consecutive years (2013, 2014, 2015), 2013 FIVB Best Blocker and 2013 FIVB Best Offensive player.
Talita’s hubby Renato, is no stranger to volleyball.
Specially, since Renato has been the coach of Brazilian volleyball player Pedro Solberg and partner Evandro for 16 years.
Renato Franca and Talita have been together for 8 amazing years. They owned a house in Rio, but since Talita forged her partnership with Larissa, she has moved temporarily to Fortaleza. For this reason Talita and Renato see each other on the weekends or whenever she has some free time.
