24-year-old actress and musician Teyana Taylor is dating NBA player Iman Shumpert. Her 24-year-old Cavaliers guard boyfriend says in recent reports her feels like his life has been stolen and taken to the TV show “Empire;” telling Cleveland.com this week. “They never called us. We were blindsided. We found out by our family and fans when the show aired.”

Iman claims his own personal life and his romance with Teyana have been copied by the series in which actor Bryshere Y. Gray plays Hakeem Lyon a rapper sporting a similar look to Iman and involved romantically with Tiana Brown, an up-and-coming R&B singer.

Teyana is in fact a recording artist from Harlem. Last November she released her her much-anticipated album, VII. She is currently signed to signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label and The Island Def Jam Music Group.

Following the release of her album she’s been working none stop touring and on doing promotion, but some of the things that keep her entertained are designer fashion and fast food and of course her man.

She loves Popeye’s chicken but she also hits the gym hard to keep her great and ripped figure.

Shumpert popped the question at their baby Shower and Teyana gave birth to the lovely baby girl Tayla Shumpert Jr on Dec. 16 at 6:45 in their bathroom.
