As a child he would beat the school bus, Nairo and his siblings rode their bike to school, since his family couldn’t afford to pay the bus to school.
One day his sister said she wanted to try riding the bike like her brother, the course was difficult for her at one point when she no longer had the strength to keep pedalling, Nairo took a rope out of his backpack tied his sister’s bike and pull her with his bike. This is one of the many things that made him the type of person he is and the champion he has become.
