Meet Heather Hurley, Wife of Golfer Bill hurley
Heather Hurley is the wife of PGA golfer, Billy Hurley III. Heather and the whole Hurley family became concern with the disappearance of her father-in-law when he went missing, he was found a couple of days later but less than a month later he was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Reports say her husband asked media to help spread the word in hopes of finding his father Billy Hurley Jr., –who’s been missing for over a week!
The 33-year-old pro golfer said his father took off in his truck on July 19 with some clothes and cash, and hasn’t been heard from since. His parents reside in Leesburg and have been married for over three-decades.
His father is a retired police officer who worked security when The Presidents Cup was held at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club and was last seen driving a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck, dark green, license plate YWH-5898. Mr. hurley Sr. was found three days later in Texas three days later, according to police. Sadly Bill Hurley’s father was found dead in Loudoun County, Va., from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on August 12, 2015.
According to his bio, Billy is and graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He became the first graduate of the United States Naval Academy to become a member of the PGA Tour, finishing 25th on the 2011 Web.com Tour Money List.
He was one of the top-ranked amateur golfers in the country. A member of the victorious 2005 United States Walker Cup Team competing at the Chicago Golf Club during his amateur time. In 2004 he won the Byron Nelson Award, that same year he was the captain of the Palmer Cup Team and won back-to-back Virginia State Amateur Championships in 2004 and 2005.
During his rookie season while on the PGA Tour, Billy finished in 4th place at the AT&T National and 8th at the John Deere Classic.
Heather Bullock Hurley is a supportive golf wife, she and her husband participated in Operation Shower, an event sponsored by The Players and Birdies for the Brave, to throw a baby shower for 40 military moms and moms-to-be at TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach earlier this year.
She is the mother of the couple’s two sons, Will and Jacob, in a 2013 article she was said to be expecting their third child.
She and her family reside in Annapolis, Maryland.
